We have officially moved into our new digs and I’m loving it. We have a ton of work that needs to be completed over the next month, but the space is pretty incredible. The office is in the old Holsum Bread Factory that was gutted and remolded years ago, but kept the industrial aspect of a factory with open ceilings seeing all the duct work, piping and beams of a lofted building. We combined that industrial look and added in modern twists to create a pretty unique space in Las Vegas. And did I mention the new digs are 1 mile from my house. Yes, seriously 1 mile. When the weather turns nicer, I am planning on riding my bike a few times a week. I use to ride my bike 10 miles one way, 3 days a week for about 6 months out of the year when I worked for ad agencies in Chicago in the 90’s. I would ride along the lake front from Wrigleyville to downtown. Now, my ride won’t be as picturesque as the Chicago waterfront, but I’m still stoked to have the opportunity to take a nice easy ride in on the mornings and then blow it out with a longer ride as a workout on the way home.
It’s the Dad Life
As a father of three I can totally relate to this video. It's so true on many levels. There are plenty of days where this is my life. As a matter of fact, it was yesterday. I dropped the kids off to summer camp in the morning at two different locations, worked a full day at the office, picked kids up from camps, cooked dinner, watched the Olympics with the kids and wife, put kids to bed and did 3 hours of yardwork at night, under the backyard lights. It's the Dad Life! But I wouldn't have it anyother way.
Coca-Cola: Download Concert
This brings a whole new notion to downloading a song. It's a pretty cool PR stunt by Coke that literally downloaded the band from above the stage as people at the concert and on-line listening to the concert downloaded songs from the band. As each song was downloaded, the band moved down closer to the stage.
I am way late to this amazing thing called Pinterest. As a visual guy I am in love and am wondering where have you been my entire life.
