Great Advertising & The Failure to Deliver

08 Jun

Sometimes you hear about how great an ad was, but then how disappointed someone was with the product. It becomes even more glaring when social media and word of mouth comes into play and gets you a lot of attention quickly. Bottom line make sure that how you're selling something is representative of what you are really selling. What made me think of this, well check this out and tell me what you think. 5,000,000 views and growing. Were you expecting something a little bit more like an attack and a little more exciting?

Good call on this one - it might be the most BORING shark “attack” in history. Should actually be called a shark “nibble” instead.

Very few products live up to their advertising. McDonalds doesn’t seem to be having too much trouble with the discrepancy though.

Thanks Mike. Interesting way for McDonalds to decide to answer that question. How it looks and not how it tastes.

I’m going to put this on a loop and fall asleep to it tonight. It’s the most soothing shark attack in history.
